Judge / Official Development in NSW
We provide judge and technical controller development opportunities for all experience levels. Delivered in partnership with Artistic Swimming Victoria, our workshops combine practical learning with real-world experience.
Participants have the opportunity to practise their skills at local and interstate competitions while receiving valuable feedback, mentoring, and performance evaluations to support their ongoing development.
Grant opportunities may also be available to assist with attending judge and technical controller courses in other Australian states or internationally, helping participants further expand their knowledge and qualifications.

Become a Judge with Artistic Swimming Australia
Artistic Swimming Judges are critical for running artistic swimming competitions as they provide scores based on the performance of each routine.
They are also responsible for marking grade-level assessments and helping our sport develop!
All Artistic Swimming judges must be expertly trained to reduce subjectivity in scoring. They require a complete understanding of World Aquatics and Swimming Australia's rules and regulations for artistic swimming competitions.
